Biography

If I were a CU student… I would get involved in as many things as possible! It is not only the best way to make friends, it provides opportunities to serve others and have a lot of fun. Go on a Global Outreach trip, apply for an on-campus job, get involved at a local church, audition for a play, and go to your dorm events. Once you find a solid group of friends, find some creative, fun ways to enjoy our little town — the spontaneous nights are the ones that will find their way onto your college highlight reel!

What is the best restaurant in the area? I like going over to Yellow Springs to get Miguel’s Tacos, a treat from the bakery, or dinner at Peach’s Grill. I think Yellow Springs is underrated!

What sets CU apart from other colleges and universities? The community is unparalleled. Not only did I make friends for life, my classmates and professors quickly became a second family. My professors were always willing to get coffee with me and often invited me and my friends into their homes for ice cream and movie nights. I am quick to say my professors were the biggest blessing during my time here. They were diligent in checking in on my academic status while remaining consistent in their care for my general and spiritual well-being as their sister in Christ.

Hometown? Henderson, Kentucky

Degree? BA in Studio Art

Best place to visit around Cedarville? I try to go to a different coffee shop every weekend. There are many of them within an hour of Cedarville, and I love searching for hidden gems. My current favorites are Vinyl Coffee in Washington Court House, Purebred Coffee in Troy, and Fox in the Snow in Columbus. They all rock!

Bucket list item: A girls' trip to NYC with my mom! We have always gone to a lot of plays and musicals together, but we haven’t made it to Broadway on our own quite yet.
